Holiday rental near Lake Vinuela: A beautiful villa available for rental at competitive rates.
This beautiful villa has three double bedrooms with built in wardrobes. One bedroom has twin beds with a pull out single bed so it sleeps 7 comfortably. Two bathrooms, one en suite. The living room is a large sunny room with double patio doors overlooking the garden and countryside. In the lounge is satellite TV so you can watch British programmes if you choose. Also DVD,video, HiFi and playstation. Separate dining room also looking out onto the garden. There is a front terrace ideal for sitting out for breakfast and greeting the morning sun. The large kitchen is fully fitted and complete with all white goods. Marble floors throughout and beautifully decorated and furnished. Air conditioning Hot/Cold.
Outside are mature gardens to front and back with orange and pomegranate trees. The driveway up to the villa offers ample parking for several cars. The large pool is surrounded by terraces for sunbathing. Sun loungers and umbrellas provided. Large table and chairs for eating outside There is a built in BBQ area with an outside bar poolside. An outhouse has the washing machine.
The villa is peaceful and quiet. The evening rush hour is the goat-herder with his goats and the only noise from them is the tinkling of the bells around their necks. Set in large gardens the villa is private and safe for young children to play.
The village is within walking distance and has all the amenities. There is a bakery with delicious spanish bread and cakes. The butcher sells excellent meat ready for the barbecue. There are a couple of small grocery shops. For your main shopping requirements the supermarket is at Torre Del Mar.
The village also has some pleasant cafe/bars serving tapas and traditional spanish fare.
There are several lovely villages in the surrounding countryside. Some are set in the mountains with stunning scenery. We reccommend you visit Comares, Alcacuin, Periana and Los Romanos.
The coast is 15 minutes drive away. The local resort is Torre Del Mar. It has a water park which is very popular with the children. On the long beach there are a number of chinquitos. (beach bars/restaurants)Sample the wonderful seafood particularly the sardines which are cooked in front of you on barbecues built on upturned boats.
Join the promenading with the spanish families as the sun goes down. The sea is clean and safe for bathing.
North of the villa, you can drive to the wonderful city of Granada within two hours. There you can see the magnificant Alhambre Palace.
Getting There
The flights to Malaga are regular and cheap. All the low-cost airlines fly there. It is only a 3 hour flight from Britain. It is accessible for weekends, short breaks and longer holidays. You will need to hire a car and this is easily done as there are many car hire firms operating in Malaga airport.It is less than an hour drive from the airport
